Automation Engineer

Gabe Worman is a skilled engineer with a passion for mechatronics. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University-Idaho and The Pennsylvania State University, respectively.

Prior to joining Talos, Gabe worked at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory, where he developed maintenance and design projects and gained extensive knowledge in health, safety, radiological, and environmental controls. Prior to that, he designed custom potato processing machines at Milestone International Inc., where he gained skills in equipment fabrication and manufacturing process improvement.

His academic research included developing state of health estimation for lead acid batteries and studying biomedical processes related to orthopedic surgery. Gabe has also worked on other research projects, including design of an autonomous search and rescue robot and creation of a physics-based airplane simulator.

He is proficient in C++, Python, MATLAB, SolidWorks, and Abaqus. He has a strong background in teaching and mentoring.

Gabe and his wife, Tasha, were married in 2021, and currently live in Richland. They enjoy spending their time together, along with their mini golden doodle, Hazel. Gabe’s driving force in life is to be a dad one day.
