Talos is seeking a full-time / permanent entry level Automation Engineer to work on a variety of industrial automation projects. The successful candidate will work directly under the supervision of an experienced Professional Engineer.  The position will involve working on drawings in AutoCAD, drafting specifications and test plans for manufacturing automation systems, building software for manufacturing automation systems and commissioning manufacturing automation systems.  The position will involve approximately 50% office / desk work and approximately 50% work on-site in manufacturing facilities around the region.

The position requires up to 50% travel.  Most travel is within the northwest region.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• GPA 3.25 or higher
• Positive attitude and a desire to learn

Preferred / Desired Qualifications

• AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical familiarity
• Familiarity with automation systems and software
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Industrial Touch Screens (HMIs)
• Familiarity with networking equipment and principles

  • TCP / IP
