Sales Engineer

Josh Carson joined Talos as a Sales Engineer in the Summer of 2026, following 4 years as an Engineer for Nanowear, a wearable technology company headquartered in State College, PA.  As a Sales Engineer, Josh works with the Business Development team to understand client needs, identify technical solutions, and prepare estimates & proposals.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Design Technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology, and experience with CAD, hardware applications, procurement and QA, Josh is well positioned to mesh commercial considerations with technical and budget requirements.

Josh is excited to work with a young, dynamic team and to soak in the culture of continuous self-improvement that’s characteristic of Team Talos.  The opportunity to gain hands-on experience and face new challenges is what keeps Josh engaged.

Josh is a Pennsylvania native, who relocated to the Northwest for his Wife’s work and discovered that there’s much to love about the region.  In his spare time, Josh’s hobbies include video games, hiking, talking sports (go Mets, Penguins and Steelers!).  He also enjoys home DIY projects and tending to his garden.
