In short, yes.  If you’re really interested, though, please read on.Internships

We get this question a lot when chatting with college students.  It’s easy to understand why:  Your odds of landing your dream job when you graduate are greatly increased if you have internship experience on your resume.  Unfortunately, as much as we might both wish for a simple answer, we can’t give you one.  Here’s why:

At Talos, we don’t subscribe to the conventional notion of a “job opening.”  We’ve found that when we make it our objective to hire a certain number of people for a certain quantity of openings within a specific schedule, we aren’t as selective as we need to be.  We want to hire the very best candidates whenever we meet them, in whatever quantity they might appear.  When we hire top notch people, they do a great job serving our clients and they become very busy very quickly.  There’s little need to try to time our hiring cycles with our customer workload:  There’s always more than enough work to do when we have superior talent.

If you’re one of those excellent people that we’re always hunting for, we want you on the team.  We don’t much care whether you’re currently a Sophomore, Junior or Senior.  We want to know two things:  (1) Are you excited about the prospect of a career in industrial automation?  (2) Are you an outstanding candidate?  If you can answer yes to both, then we encourage you to apply for a position as an Automation Engineer on our Careers page.  If we agree, but you’re not yet in your final year of school, then we’ll be happy to bring you on-board as an intern during the summer(s) before you graduate.
